3. In the high voltage compartment, affix the wiring labels (included) either side of the “blue terminal
block” and connect the wires are shown below. Note: You will need to cut the new labels to fit over
the existing labels.
4. Mount the new “BLUE TERMINAL BLOCK” (included) onto the mounting rail in the high voltage
compartment of the load center. Press down to snap in place. Reconnect wiring for the transformer
and input AC power.
5. In the low voltage compartment, plug the transformer assembly cable into the socket at the top of the
Compool/EasyTouch circuit board. See “Compool/EasyTouch Upgrade Circuit board Wiring
Diagram” on page 76.
6. Mount the service panel over the high voltage compartment and secure with the three screws.
7. Close the control panel plate and tighten the retaining screw.
8. Place the front door on its hinges. Tighten the hinge nut.
9. Close the front door and close the latch.
Switch the main AC power OFF to the Compool load center
To install the Compool/EasyTouch Upgrade Transformer Assembly:
1. Mount the new transformer assembly above the low voltage compartment of the load center. Route
the three (3) wires through the bushing in the high voltage barrier. See illustration on page 72.
2. Reuse the four mounting screws to secure the transformer assembly.
